Since the first “Week of Prayer” in 1967, SDBs around the world have begun each new year with prayer, sharing together in meditations provided by that year’s author.
This year’s author is Pastor Marlo Siolo from Brisbane, Australia and is centered around the theme, “Your will be done“. The Week of Prayer is from January 1-7, 2012. Pastor Marlo Malofou Siolo was born in Samoa in June 1948. He currently serves the Lord for the SDB church in Brisbane, Australia (since 2000) and has been elected Vice President of the SDB World Federation to liaise with the SDB churches in Australia and New Zealand.
